I just want to know if OP thinks Hawaii is "international"

Belize is fairly affordable and similar to Hawaii.

Maybe they live in Canada.

Maybe that's the only "domestic" place they were interested in.

Good point.

Just got back from a trip to Paris. Direct flight on United was $550 each.

We went to Romania last year as it was the cheapest flight from DC we could find and it was one of the best trips we've taken in our lives!

A desire to go to Hawaii is literally THE reason I got into credit card points.

What are some of your favorite places to stay or things to do in El Salvador? I would love to visit.

I love Ireland. I went in the off season and it was great. Took a direct flight from Dulles. The Irish are so friendly. I can't wait to go back.

I mean, you can find bargains in every big city if you look hard enough, including Paris.

not "big cities" but hugely popular tourist destinations - not cheap flight and hotel

If you have enough flexibility with dates, that is.

Yes, and to make it even cheaper, road trip there. Staying in Vermont on the way is a nice option.
