Recommend affordable but slightly upscale beach resort for family of four with older teenagers in summer?

We loved PR. Much more to do off the resort property than some other islands. Where we were, I wouldn't say the beach was that impressive, but resort pools were great and then the rest of it was fun, as I mentioned. We would definitely go back.
