Real life inspos behind some of the KPDH songs IMO:
Soda Pop - early Tomorrow x Together, some of their earlier songs like Crown, No Rules (not to be confused with New Rules which is also great), and Magic. Your Idol - there are about a billion songs in this Kpop genre lol. The producers and songwriters have said they were inspired by a lot of EXO songs like Obsession, Overdose, and Monster. I feel like there are some ATEEZ songs that fit the bill too. Golden - very similar to I Am by IVE! How It’s Done and Takedown - again about a billion songs from various groups. Blackpink - How You Like That, Ddu-du Ddu-du, Jump, even their old stuff like Boombayah has this sound. So does their predecessor group 2NE1 and their successor group BabyMonster and wouldn’t you know it, one of the main producers for all these groups is Teddy Park who also worked on KPDH! |
