What to do about neighbor and swing set

Anonymous
Just tell the neighbor that now is not a good time for anyone to enter your yard to disassemble the swingset but you will let him know when a better time will be.

Backyard swing sets are one of the biggest scams going, especially the kind with "treehouses"

Within a shockingly short period of time (days are long, years are short), that's exactly where your kids will go to hide with their friends and smoke or have sex

Also, wasps love to make nests in there

He took about half of it and also wanted a swing set which needs to be disassembled to take. He told me he had a guy who would do it for him. The guy never showed and the swing set is still in my yard. At this point I’m busy and yesterday he asked when he could take the swing set and I said I’d let him know. I don’t care about the swing set but I am also to busy to be around to let his guy who was a no show in and I just got a new dog so I can’t have people just randomly show up in my yard.

But you have enough time to write this out and post her to complain ….

Are you my neighbor?

No, just a normal person who thinks it’s weird you have to vent here and waste everyone’s time when a simple email as described above will take care of the problem.

OK but your neighbor could be on DCUM...

Anyway. Just tell him to make an appointment.

Dog is afraid of men. She was severely abused, is underweight and I’ve only had her for 3 days. Having a guy over right now isn’t a good time.

Huh? The man isn’t going through the house. Keep the dog inside which it should be considering its issues.
