A lot of the county is unincorporated and plowed (or not) by the county. Municipalities are probably in better shape on average.

The snow is now concrete and not moveable in many places. The failure on everyone's part was not starting to plow late Sat and early Sun. I'm sure the schools would like to open and I suspect they will tomorrow or Th but it is going to be a sh*t show.

Mcps opened today and it was not a sh*t show. Yes there were delays for some people but other than that no big deal.

As for the ice concrete, we had a plow come in at night and magically the road seemed wider and back to normal.

Now it’s a joke. I honestly don’t know what happened. I thought my kid was lying when he told me school was closed. I even said, “Boy, you hacked into the system.” I ended up calling Oxon Hill High School just to make sure no one had been hacked and that they were actually closed. They laughed and said, “Nope, we’re closed.”

WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW. I don’t even know what to say anymore.

Are you always this absurdly melodramatic, or only on DCUM?

When that becomes the school district’s problem, they’ll be sure to let you know.

Pro Tip: that will be never.

That’s nice. I want a pony. We’re both going to be disappointed.
