Their problem. I used to really worry about that w my side gig and meeting new ppl. Over it. My ppl will find me and I hope to god ppl know where I stand on things. 12 ppl contacted me to ask who they should vote for for school board as I was very vocal about education on social media. So, it’s with it for me to be planted firmly in a camp. |
| No- never. |
Ok you just watch this current S#!++ show from your vantage point and keep acting like nothing is happening. Keep it up. This is 1938 Germany. Imagine if there was social media. |
| I post the cell phone videos of what is going on. A lot of people really aren't fully aware. |
| No. I would be putting my job at risk if I did, and I can’t afford to be fired. I’m afraid to even post anonymously about it. I speak to people in-person only about politics. |
| Yes but usually backhanded compliments that can be interpreted either way |
| I am apolitical and I can’t stand the stupidity of people who are devoted to ill informed opinions, this includes both maga and communists. |
| I am not on social media since 2014. Lame. |
Cannot imagine the privilege of remaining “apolitical” in this day and age.. |
This is dangerous in an environment of AI deepfakes |
^^ who’s going to tell her? |
I think this is terrifyingly similar to 1938 Germany, so I stay silent on social media. I know how to contact people i trust and organize with in ways that aren't publicly broadcast or tracked by companies I don't trust. Nothing I say or don't say on Facebook is going to help at this point. |
| I deleted social media back in 2022 and don't miss it. Seeing all the supposedly smart, educated people from my Ivy League school support pandemic-era overreach such as extended school closures when I knew they held different opinions IRL made me realize how fake and performative it is. |
A moment of silence for the insane amount of teachers who passed from COVID. |
+1 completely agree!! |
