+1. It’s far for me, but they are much better than the sh** show that is Washington Radiology.

This is probably location dependent. I’ve had no issues with Washington Radiology. My one visit to Fairfax Radiology was a much less pleasant, far more disorganized experience.

I recommend the GW Breast Care Center (2300 M Street, NW, 8th Floor, Phone: 202-741-3270. I was high risk and had a preventative double masectomy with Dr. Christine Teal. Reconstruction was done by a plastic surgeon during the same surgery. Prior to that, I had many mammograms, MRIs and ultrasounds over the years. Now I only have to get MRIs every 6 years.

I’ve had no issues with VHC. Mammogram, ultrasound, and MRI

I too switched from Georgetown to Sibley. It is easier to schedule and the people are so nice. I also switched to the high risk breast center at Sibley. Really great.

Over the past 6 months I’ve had great care at Georgetown for breast cancer imaging, diagnosis and treatment. From initial diagnosis to clinical trial participation to surgery. Very thankful that they are my local, in-network provider.

Is there any place where I can directly have an ultrasound instead of the squeezing, hurtful mammogram?

Same here. VHC also did my biopsy and were terrific from start to finish.
