They couldn't coast but it wasn't bad. Honors physics senior year was less work then AP chem was Jr year-- but if our school had offered AP Physics 1, that may have been a different scenario. AP Bio wasn't particularly challenging.

Yes for AP Physics 1, but not for AP Physics C, which is the only AP Physics offered at many schools. Though this is dependent on the school, some won't even allow AP Physics 1 without a year of basic physics first.
