Love house, hate everything else, job opportunity provides opportunity to relocate. WWYD?

Why is this even a question? Move immediately and be grateful you have the opportunity. If you can’t let go of the house, see if you can rent it out rather than sell it

I have an offer for a job that would take us out-of-state to an area that seems nicer and more my speed. The job itself and the team seem great. I’m very conflicted as I love the house we bought last year, but I really loathe everything else despite my best efforts (closed social life, limited to no activities, etc). I am also looking at a local offer but dread staying here any longer. We have a toddler. WWYD?

Move. You are being handed an opportunity here. Don't squander it over an emotional attachment to a house that happens to be located in a place you hate.

Do not raise your toddler in Appalachia. Too much exposure to drug addicts. Move.

There is no one "true" house. You can love another.

Move immediately OP, especially in the current climate.
