High end beachfront resorts in Florida for families

We spent a number of fun vacations at Hyatt Coconut Point when our kids were little. Variety of pools including a great zero entry for littles. The beach is accessible via private hotel boat shuttle. Beach was calm and good for shelling.

30a where Watercolor Inn is will not be reliably warm in February.

Other friends love Cheeca Lodge in the keys.

We liked Singer Island Marriott when our oldest was a toddler. Also stayed at a Marriott Vacation Club in Marco Island once we had two young kids. It was nice, but not full service so we were going to the grocery store a lot. The two rooms were needed at the time so we could put them to bed early. But the beach there was like a graveyard, so it felt like our kids were so loud in comparison to others out there. I think it was mid May so not spring break — lots of old people. I am sure it’s different at spring break.

I also singer island marriott when my kids were that age. We used the kids’ club and they liked it. Easy to get to from pbi. There is a pretty nice mall area in Pam beach gardens with lots of places to eat. There is a bagel place down the street as well as a casual seafood place. I think they had one in house restaurant but it’s not a big resort. The pool was nice and it has a fun slide.

Right around there down the beach is the Amrit which I think is pretty new. Stayed there two nights and really enjoyed it. We were there to visit family so didn’t take advantage of everything on site, but the spa was really nice.

It flooded badly a couple months ago. Check to see if it has been repaired.

Boca club has a lot to offer but it isn’t exclusive or true luxury. There are large conventions there and people wearing MAGA hats by the pool.

I’ve been to many resorts in Florida and wasn’t that impressed. I didn’t dislike it but it also didn’t wow me.

Oof, we paid about 500.

That’s a really nice property. We never stayed but visited restaurants there a few times when my parents spent winters in Naples.

If you need your resorts with only your political affiliation IN FLORIDA, that's going to be a pretty tough find

Nothing nice is $500 a night on peak travel days anymore.

The Ritz Naples Tiburon is fantastic - has a lazy river and water slides and you can use the beach/facilities at the more expensive Ritz Naples.

Anonymous wrote:Definitely Palms out of these three. Marco Island I think is boring, Hollywood Beach is a little seedy and Margaritaville not that nice. Palms is great because it's a quieter area but walkable to a lot.

I like the boring-ness of Marco Island for kids of the ages of OP's kids.

That JW Marriot sells out quickly though, especially for holidays and popular weeks.
