pre-teens filling out applications for selective programs and summer camps

He’s only 12. Of course you’ll have to help him.

But more importantly, what is the age target for these programs? Would your son be the only middle schooler? Would he enjoy that? Is he interested in the programs?

Personally I’m a big believer in letting kids to kids for as long as possible and encouraging parents to keep the college obsession in check.
