Maybe read their profiles better on Hinge and avoid those who showcase shipping, tattoos, etc. Overall you are looking for jewish and European born women for that

Excuse me, we are a white-Asian household and very much into the classics. My son took Philosophy and AP Latin in high school. My Asian husband studied ancient Greek before going to med school. My daughter's 100% Asian best friend reads Euripides for fun.

Don't be racist, and don't dismiss STEM people - they often also have an interest in the Classics.

Shipping?? What does this mean?

NP. You can screen online dating profiles for indications of culture.

I am a cultured (Western European) woman looking for a man with similar interests. However, chances to be approached at an event are slim.

I think you would need to do a series of classes where you see the same people repeatedly. Just attending an event or a workshop or concert or class isn't going to lead to a connection.

Also write those things on your social media profiles. Women tend to actually read the bios on men's profiles! Then you can have an initial messaging conversation or meet n greet where you see if those are really an interest or not.

You are an exception most modern Asian women are very transactional and consumerist

I know a 49 year old reasonably attractive professional woman who constantly complains that she can't find cultured men. She likes art museums, classical music, and international travel. She's on Hinge, Bumble and the League.

Leaving this here as an example of your horrible racism. Shame on you.

Lots of rich people attend cultural type events but aren't cultured. It is just their social circle and social outings.

You need someone who can talk and discuss those kinds of things. Go onto subreddits on reddit and find discussions on topics you enjoy. Maybe you will connect with someone there who shares your interests.

And yes, reddit main pages can be a cesspool but many of the smaller niche subreddits are actually great.

I have met transactional women of all races during my post divorce dating. I've also met very cultured women of all races. If you think one race is transactional, increase your sample size or just try to stop being so racist.

OP - give us a few details on yourself.

Age, city, education level, types of culture/arts you find most interesting.

The opposite is the issue lol. Finding a cultured man should be the challenge.

I’ve taught philosophy for decades. A woman who doesn’t flee the scene once philosophy is mentioned is exceedingly rare.

Substitute psychology for philosophy & you have a fighting chance of finding what u want.
