Mine is the same size and for hoodies that are the fancy brands she just gets xxs; you have to regularly refresh those websites for a while because they’re the first sizes to go out of stock when they restock.
For the right inexpensive sweats, we have lucked out with zara in size 11-12 or 9-10- the length can be erratic and stock changes quickly so it requires looking every week or so. We’ve also lucked out with hand me downs from 2-3 seasons past which seem to run a tiny bit smaller. For a splurge and a girl who’s really on a quest for baggy, Aritzia makes their sweats in a 2xs and short length that’s only available online. We found some in-store that must have been returns. Careful because they are strict about return deadlines and final sales. A&F is best for short length pants and jeans but they don’t carry them in-store. |
That means that you're not into Gap and Old Navy because most of their clothes are just cheaper versions of what you find in all the other stores. |

Abercrombie Kids has very trendy clothes in children’s sizes.
Zara Kids seems to be popular with that age group and has some fun hoodies and tops. Tilly’s Kids is always a good bet, very trendy clothes . Roxy or O’Neil kids is great as well. |
I was going to suggest these same two. Zara kids is also good, and so is Frankie's on the Park (from Dallas). PacSun also has a small kids section online that is very teen. |
| In 6tht grade my tiny girl had luck with of all things, Jessica Simpson brand stuff found at Macy's. |
| Abercrombie Kids is pretty big among my 6th grader's peers who are still visibly in kids' sizes. She's the same size as your daughter OP. |

Abercrombie kids for wide leg sweatpants.
Cmfrt — kids XL. Edikted xxs sweatshirts. Buckle jeans. T2Love Lululemon size zero or even 2. Buy “cropped” styles Athleta girl KatieJ - tween sizes |
| My petite 11th grader constantly laments how large clothes are! We have found Hollister online will have XS but the stores sell out almost instantly. Do other gen x people remember the store "5, 7, 9"?! It was for petite people, right? I wish the stores would stock for smaller sizes, there is a market for it! |
| Another vote for Tilly's! |
| Aerie is what works for my very small 12 year old |
| Op here and Abercrombie and Zara for the win! Will try other suggestions. Thanks! |
