My 15 yo wish list was filled with Dandy and White Fox. She also has some Pink Palm.
She loves her old Lulu and Nike clothes for the gym and actually working out now, not as much as fashion clothes. It’s all she wanted 2 years ago. |

Nike and Lulu poster here. I stand corrected, ha! Also grateful that my young tween (10 y/o) does not actually yet know what’s in with the young teen crowd!
I do think age makes a difference here. A 10 year old fifth grader is going to be much less aware (hopefully) than a 12 year old 7th grader. I’m not sure I’d pay the premium for the most in brands for a young, young tween unless she’s hearing about them already from an older sib or social media. |

| OP here and thanks! This is a 5th grader who doesn’t particularly know trends and would not think to ask for one of these but has friends with older siblings so I figured it’s coming soon? Also she has basically no specific requests for Christmas so… |

| Do the XS size in these brands fit a 5th grader? My daughter asked for Pink Palm Puff, Edikted, White Fox and Dandy. She's a just turned 11yo though and wondering if she will swim in them -- average in height and weight. |

I’m not sure I’d buy Dandy for her I’d she doesnt know what it is. It’s expensive and the styles are so particular. White Fox is a little more plain. It holds up great too. DD has some for a couple years now that look brand new still. Honestly, she’s young still. I’d just get her a Hollister hoodie. My 15 yo wears her Hollister hoodie as much as these and you will spend less. And she can exchange it at the mall if she doesn’t like it. 5th grade is still young! |

| Adding to my post above, I’m a HS teacher and the camouflage from Hollister is really popular at my HS with the girls in sweats and hoodies. |
