No I do not. Unless someone has a visual cue about them, I won’t be able to remember having seen them before. Something like stand out glasses, interesting beard, really red hair. Faces mean nothing to me, but I’ve been assured I am not face blind (which is like a whole different level where you literally don’t see faces).
Conversely, I remember pretty much every “narrative” of my whole life. Someone mentions larlo smith, and I can remember all my interactions with larlo from 1987, what we talked about, where we were, who else we ran into. |
Sounds like a Seinfeld episode |
My entire family is like this but generally it seems pretty rare. Or people hide their ability. I guess I myself hide it in certain circumstances. |
| Yes, I remember most people. |

No, I’m bad with both faces and names.
Freshman year there was a guy on my dorm floor who kept coming by to talk to my roommate (much to her annoyance), and I’d end up chatting with him. He was also the star student/teacher’s pet in a small class I had that met three times a week. I think it took me a couple of months to realize it was the same guy, which kept him entertained. Eventually, I learned to recognize him, which was good because we ended up getting married and having 2 kids together. |
| I'm much better with women than with men. Anyone else? There are so many elementary school dads who just look sort of generic. The moms are more distinct. |
| You sound better at this on average for sure. Maybe you should be a casting agent. |
