There are so many questionable things coming to light after the untimely release of this coach that go far beyond football. This school’s ethics are in serious question and I don’t know how anyone could consider dealing with a place like this.

My DD played soccer with a bunch of girls from GC and Academy of Holy Cross for quite a few years those families are racist, and antisemites, horrible humans. A few still come up on my FB page I am appalled at their online words.

But LOL at school values. We were involved during the Dancel Milloy years and things going on where WAY worse. It was literally Florida 2009 in there

Stefanelli coached both of our kids. Both really enjoyed playing for him. He was very fair and a good coach. Milloy had no patience or dealings with anyone who wasn’t connected or a future nfl prospect

Both played for as long as they possibly could at that program. Would have probably started no problem in public school but oh well. Both enjoyed their experiences

Not sure why you’re commenting on families views on FB?? Basing an entire place including students, teachers and coaches on that is wild. There are a ton of people affected by what has happened so stop with your insensitive BS.

The point is Coach Stefanelli has all the values and he did everything possible to instill those in young men and all those around him for 18 years. He has saved people’s lives. He’s given them a chance they never would have had anywhere else. The school has certainly had its issues for a long time but don’t put that on him or these kids. He is extremely respected in the area and he didn’t deserve this. No one does. GC will regret this.

Certain reciever who plays in the nfl had numerous charachter concerns in high school and incidents swept under the rug. Players being ineligible academically and playing on Friday

Mass recruiting 20 kids per class and displacing average kids wanting to play. Other kids who were recruited in who didn’t play or live up to expectations were dispatched out

Lmao that is nothing compared to what programs like St Frances, QO, now st James and many others are doing today and have been doing for years. Once again, all things coach Stefanelli worked very hard to fix. But you can’t fix a corrupt administration.
