How much to tip hairstylist?

20% and I double that for my holiday visit.

Some of you are CHEAP AF!

I give 20% each visit to stylist and $5-$10 to shampooist (I tip more to the one who gives me a little head massage if I get her)

I give $100 total tip to the stylist at the holidays and $30 to shampoo person.

I was worried I was cheap with that but now I'm not

This is what I do, minus the holiday gift for the shampoo person bc they are rarely the same each time.

Why should we pay more just because we get our hair cut in December rather than October or February?

See my barber monthly. $20 tip every December

I get roots done every 3 weeks tip 20 on 90. I give 100 and a card at the end of the year. I wouldn’t tip extra if I only saw him for three haircuts.

He fits me in when I forget to book and is understanding if I have a sick kid
