Yes, it is inappropriate.
Your daughter might not know what the eggplant emoji is, but rest assured that someone will eventually see her with the phone and will tell her. She will have classmates with older siblings, and she will be around slightly older kids who are not properly monitored online. It will be embarrassing for her for sure. Do you want that? On the other hand, it's a really cute case, and it's a shame that the eggplant emoji has ruined this. |
Neither should you. |
| Unless your kid loves eggplant...there has to be a different case they will like |
| Choose something else for the sake of your child. |
| You are a loser and so is your coworker |
| Don't give your third grader a phone "to play with" FFS! |
| Yikes, find another veggie! |
Why |
| Yes the emoji refers to a penis. Do not give this to your kid. Someone with an older sibling will see it and educate EVERYONE. |
|
Kids 13 and under shouldn’t have phones. So yes, it’s inappropriate.
For a wallet or pocket toy, it’s impractical. |
| Why you give your kid a phone numb nuts |
| I would let my child have but I wouldn’t buy. It is a dancing penis |
| I am old enough to remember when eggplant meant something entirely different. From the NY area in the 80s. |
| How did you know all those emoji meaning? Omg.....I thought i just see a screaming purple eggplant, lol. I kind of like it because it looks kind of cute. Not anymore after some pp mentions that it means something.. |
I am also from the NY area in the 1970s and 80s and I have no idea what you’re talking about. Was it an ethnic slur or something? |
