ITA with 13:45. My understanding is that an Olive Garden or a TGI Fridays out in the burbs would be the traditional place for such an illicit encounter. Knock back a bud light or under-strength frozen daquiri, enjoy the deep fried appetizers, and you'll find yourself necking in the parking lot with Donna from HR or Bill from IT pronto. Hmm, that sounds so cheap and tawdry, that I'm starting to tempt myself. Better stop reading this thread.

Hotel bar? My sister's FIL was caught cheating while at a hotel bar right after having sex behind the dumpster in the parking lot. It was all caught on tape by the awesome PI his wife hired. Can't get more romantic than that.

Sex behind the dumpster? Now that's romantic!

And she had to hire a PI to catch that guy??

For the OP, Churrerria Madrid at 18th & Columbia has a couple tables upstairs with nice views. Never anyone there and the upstairs is pretty small. Love that place.

She had to document the evidence. Makes cleaning out the cheating spouses bank account much easier in court.

I just watched Unfaithful last night with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. And YEESH. So not worth it. Her friend was right though - affairs always end disastrously.

OP, it totally depends where you are and where the people you want to avoid are, but Old Angler's is a great recommendation. Also, 1789.

Uh yeah, but this is DCUM, we know how this goes....

I'll bite. How can you focus on a lovely romantic dinner with your "lover" when it's all a lie? How can you enjoy an evening of good food and wine when you are shi$$ing on your families and children? Nothing romantic about that. At least don't delude yourself as to what it is. It's cheap and it's pathetic. Get some counseling and recommit to your own life and your own reality, or free your spouses from people like you. Blech.

Some hotel out by an airport with outside entrance to the room. Or here's a Red Roof Inn with what appears to be outside room entrances. Manassas area:

You can eat takeout in the room. Cheap ass freak cheating on the spouse.
