My family gets along well and we still stopped the adult gift exchange a long time ago. We all buy for our parents, we buy for the kids. Done. So much less stressful. We just prioritize the time together.

Yeah, no gifts for adults. Kids get presents. I usually will add a "family" gift of homemade cookies, treats some cute kitchen items or I send flowers.

The gifts for your kids sound really fun! It sounds like your kids like them at least. What brands are the things she got you? They might be nicer Sephora/Nordstrom type brands that you just aren’t aware of (Summer Fridays, Kitsch, etc.)
