Does he have one of those hand strengthening things that they squeeze? They look kind of like pliers without the pointy end. It is great for grip strength and also ends up serving as a bit of a fidget.

There is a great book called The Baseball 100 that tells short form stories about 100 baseball players.

Does he already have a jaeger band set?

My identical boy is a little older - now a college baseball player! He likes fancy hair products, little cologne tester bottles, lifting shorts (tight and short these days, alas), tshirts for favorite players, and necklaces/chains. My mom saw him come in with his hair done, smelling like a mall perfume counter, rocking his gold chain…and later asked me “does he have any news he’d like to share? We love him no matter what!” No, mom, he’s straight…just a baseball player.
