Spring break flights to Puerto Rico

The main dilemma is that one way return flights are either very early or $650-690, so weighing the odds of that flight getting cheaper again vs getting more expensive/booking up. Even Frontier at 7 am with a carry on is running $470.

No, of course not.

But if you buy your ticket on the 3rd Tuesday of the 4th month of the year with one hand on the floor, one leg in the air, and as long as the temperature is exactly 56 degrees, you'll get the best deal of the year.

No you got it wrong, you need both legs in the air for this to work. You actually get all flights free.

Isn't the return flight window over Easter? Of course flights are going to be more expensive.
