16 year old still won't swallow pills

you shouldn't just stop a prescribed med, contact the dr first. they can prescribe a liquid.

i taught my kids with food issues to swallow pills by starting with tic tacs.

this is what DS's psychologist suggested and practiced with DS during a few sessions (DS wouldn't practice with me.) He wasn't able to do it till he was about 16y and I think he got tired of taking his daily meds with applesauce.
