Using estrogen vaginal cream on your face

They’re fine to use on your face. No risk whatsoever.

I’m currently taking 10 mcg imvexxy inserts, .05 estrogen patch (plus progesterone and recently added testosterone!) so, can I add the cream too? Or is too much estrogen? Wondering if the doctor would even add it in to my existing prescriptions.

What are others doing? Just curious…

Don’t ask here. Ask your prescribing gynecologist. Mine used to say it was fine but says recent research says it’s not safe.

There is no research actually concluding that topical estrogen cream is fine for skin on one part of the body but suddenly presents risks when applied to skin elsewhere on your body. Any topical formulated for application to mucosa (inner labia) by definition will be “safe” enough to apply to skin with thicker dermis, etc. face skin prevents more of a barrier, not less, than inner labia and vaginal wall mucosa.
