| This. My parents in their 80s just bought their first SUV bc my dad was having a difficult getting in and out of their sedan. |

Neither A nor B.
I would never lease any car. I would buy a reliable used car, and would at least look at CarMax. CarMax pricing is a little above market, but they at least _try_ to avoid selling junk. |
| Why do you have two bad options? |
| Why would you choose to lease a car when you’re entering retirement? I would purchase a new or used Honda or Toyota that I planned to keep for many years. |
+1. This is good advice. Also, the reliability of Toyota has gone downhill lately. They are relying on their previous reputation. I've had more recalls and problems with my Toyota's lately than I ever had before. |
OP: the 2022 Ford Edge is a recommended used car by Consumer Reports as it is based on the Fusion, which has proven reliable. Not looking at a car because of what others have said - more difficult to get in and out of. Rented a Camry and felt like I was sitting on the ground. |
A lot of people hate on carmax because of their pricing, and they will sell a gently used car at basically new car prices, but otherwise they stand by their vehicles and will cover things with their warranty unlike a lot for those scammy third party used car warranties that wont pay for anything. |
Is this the same for Carvana’s used cars? |

| Why do you compare a used ford to a new Toyota, so weird. You can get a RAV4 that is still under 3 year/36k warranty for $25k if that is your budget. |
