What are you getting your early/mid 20s son for Xmas?

We just have a joined credit card allowance for our kids

10K among the 3

Oldest gets 5K, middle gets 3K, youngest gets 2K a month. That's it.

My learned experience is that they need money more than whatever gift I think is cool.

I don't feel guilty because my ex just spent 60K doing one of those Bravo yacht experiences for a WEEKEND

My 22-year old son likes experiences and practical items. He already has a lot of his preferred ‘stuff’ and lives in a very small apartment with little room for new things.

Some things from his wish list:
-SCUBA lessons
-Snowboarding pass to local ski/board area
-Behind the Scenes Tour of local football or baseball or basketball stadium or arena
-Ocean fishing charter day trip
-Gas gift cards
-Costco membership
-Premium streaming membership for a year

Ticket to the Christmas Day Commanders game with friends and Ugg slippers he wanted.

Costco has uber gift cards. Even if they drive where they live, if they go on vacation these come in handy.

My son is moving into his new apartment this month so I bought him some furniture from FB market place and sheets/comforter etc.

He also started his first post-college job this fall and has to wear a suit every day so I bought him a top coat, gloves and scarf. Nothing else too exciting because he has alot of “need” stuff right now with the new job and new apartment.

I've got two sons who are that age. I'm not sure what I'm getting them. I did get the older one some Airtags. He would probably like some car stuff too. I haven't gotten anything for the other. He needs a laptop. I should probably do some research and find one.

My kid is also a december baby! He'll be 20 right before xmas. He's asked for a gym membership at school, which I am inclined to cover. Both of his siblings need new phones, and this seems comparable! Plus, he needs nothing else. (Except new sneakers. The ones I bought him in august came home for thanksgiving looking like someone put on the beltway and ran over them repeatedly for a week or two.)

No one can relate to this and it doesn't even answer the question but ok.
