Every time DW and I eat out, I enter the restaurant and go straight to the restroom. While I am indisposed, DW chooses which table we will be dining at. Hint: It is NEVER the table at which she is initially seated.

So embarrassing. Good for you for finding a solution to get yourself away!

This was a Curb your Enthusiasm episode. They put the hot people in the good seats to make the restaurant look good. The uglies get seated in the back by the kitchen.

I hate when hosts/hostesses will walk you past empty tables or booths only to seat you in an awkward location or next to a large group.

My husband has started to just say no thanks, we’ll sit here - and sit where he wants if the table is empty and not reserved for another party.

Np immediately thought of that! Was a great episode. We always ask if we don’t like our table. I would not have when younger but now I feel like I want a nice experience.

I don't go to restaurants that have "bad seats"

Do low class places cram people in?

Hee hee!
Morton's is the children's table of dining.

The seat you by the bathroom when you look like you want to watch who goes in so you can make a rendezvous
