The coach does not do it in front of the youth, but smells like it so probably uses it before working with youth. If the state allows it does youth soccer allow it? Is this a safe sport violation? The coach uses it and smells like it so the coach must be under the influence when working with minors.

That's bad. Really bad.

Some are for sure. I've only seen one obviously drunk referee though. We were up at EDP Cup in NJ and there was a center referee who was very drunk. The opponent's new him as they were local and said he's been suspended in the past for reffing drunk. Good times.

Honestly, when I watch my kid's games they are so bad I am amazed the coach manages to stay sober.

I was just going to write that...I was at a 9:15 u13 girls match recently and went into the porto-john and the person before me must have just smoked some good stuff. It was strong. I thought to myself...who needs to get smoked up before a U13 girls match at 9:15am...then I read this response and I sort of get it. Maybe we should all get stoned prior. We might enjoy it more.

Watching reckless kick ball while stoned is the way. Otherwise, it's torture.

False accusations all over this thread. Why would people stoop so low to accuse someone that could tarnish their reputation.

The one at Revolution was never fired despite different parental complaints.
