Double Ditto was a huge hit for our family last year. Even for my FIL who generally skips games as it's a little slower paced. It ends up being very funny and involves everyone.

In the past, we have liked Telestrations, Heads Up, and some game where you guess how others would prioritize random things, but I can’t for the life of me remember the name.

We don’t want games with lots of complicated rules or where there are a lot of inappropriate words or ideas (last year, we had to give up on Kids Against Humanity because grandpa was offended by the fart jokes).

Thanks!
we like quiplash but sometimes it can have fart jokes too.

Dumbass or Smartass are fun. We just read off cards and whomever has the most cards wins.
My mother got an inexperience bingo roller and that was fun too- she put together a basket of different prizes - small $5-10 items - some were previous years Christmas gifts that had not been used. This was a while ago, so maybe go as high as $20 these days.

Mexican Train Dominoes and Phase 10 are both great. Also- puzzles. We do a puzzle every holiday break - it brings different sets of people together for short periods of time, which is fun.
