| Turkey breast will come out of the freezer tomorrow. Cranberry Sauce on Monday and that’s it until Thursday. |
|
I make 1/2 the dishes the morning before and the other 1/2 on Thanksgiving day.... Otherwise it won't taste as fresh.
I will shop on Monday. This weekend I will freshen up the guest bedrooms, tidy up the front hall closet and a couple of kitchen drawers, set the dining room table, buy wine and assorted beverages. |
| Nothing. Tonight, I'm organizing my menu, and tomorrow, I will start some of my shopping. But it's just my two college-aged sons and me. However, I still go all out because they can EAT and also we love to eat leftovers for several days after. Along with the main, we will have my yeast rolls that I only cook at Thanksgiving, along with 5 sides and two pies. I will also pack up a to-go plate for my friend who will stop by later in the evening. |
| Too early for us to start cooking. I cleaned out the fridge and freezer and will do the big grocery run tomorrow. Cooking will commence on Wednesday. |
| I made the pie dough and put it in the freezer. And did a lot of shopping. |
| I prepped a baked shells casserole for my family for the first few days of the work week. Nothing Thanksgiving-related. |
| This weekend is for grocery shopping the non-perishables. Wednesday is for making desserts and prepping for cooking the meal on Thursday |
+1 that food will be stale/off |
| I tried a couple new recipes this weekend, in advance of the holiday. It's too soon to make it for Thursday, IMO. |

I went through the pile of paperwork my husband likes to leave on the dining room table.
