All of the leadership team are mentioned in proposals, on our website, etc. and there are also links to our LinkedIn profiles so if anyone looks me up I’d like to look as I do now vs 10+ years ago, which is when I last updated anything!

Our photographer always does a couple for us when we do family photos. Otherwise I recommend Jon - https://highendheadshots.com/

I know several of the people he has shot and he makes them look GOOD but real. Like their headshots are a really good photo of them - flattering but professional.

I found a nice, current photo that I clipped and used as my headshot. It was from when I was out at dinner with my wife and in front of a large Christmas tree - the background is blurred enough that's it's not recognizable, but still interesting.

Don't overthink it, it's LinkedIn. If you were getting stuff published in trade journals, listed as a speaker at conferences, whatever, yeah, get a professional headshot done.
