Look incredibly cheap online and in person.

I own them and they don’t look cheap.

Not PP, but the ones I have are fairly narrow. I believe they offer wide sizes though.

I tried this company after seeing all the recommendations here and was very disappointed in the fit and apparent quality.

+1. Ugly leather and laces, squeaky and cheap.

Have you tried the Tecovas Chelsea boot? SO comfortable. I am going to get a pair on Black Friday.

There's a tecovas in Mosaic District if you want to try on in person.

If you’ve actually seen them in person why would you mention how they look online? Weird comment.

This is incorrect.

It varies with the styles, but Ariat and Thursday Boot Company were probably the lightest, although the bouncy-ness of the Docs gave them the edge for comfort throughout a long day with a fair amount of steps and walking.

I have the Legend and the Duchess Chelsea boots by Thursday Boot Company. They seem very well-made and don’t look “cheap “ at all, so, unless something has changed in the last year or so, I would recommend them. I’ve been wearing jodhpur boots for a couple of decades, starting with Cole Haans and Frye boots, and including the brands that I listed above — for comparison. I’ve also worn La Canadienne and Santana Canada. While my vintage Frye boots are hard to top, the Thursdays are quite nice, especially at their price point. I’ll add too that I walk a lot, and I’m pretty hard on shoes.
