General Practioner Prescribed My DH Jardiance + Lisinopril + Rosuvastatin calcium

Hate to sound like a stupid influencer, but the Jardiance inserts are downright terrifying. I can’t believe people prescribe it without talking about the side effect profile.

I feel like most men would at least make an effort to eat better and take walks on metformin or something less insane before they risk turning into a Ken doll due to necrotizing fasciitis.

Oof, he absolutely needs a second opinion on these things from specialists. Maybe the GP is right, maybe they're not. Your husband needs to check. There is a lack of endocrinologists in the DC area (don't know about cardios), so please get him to make appointments as quickly as possible, as he'll maybe have to wait to be seen.

I don't know much about these medicines. Is metformin the mild "1st step" and Jardiance is the nuclear option? These GPs should mention if they have pharma salespeople in too.
