Would you call your PCP?

Abnormal finding is not always bad. Our bodies are all a little different. I had an ultrasound of one area that showed an abnormal finding in another. My options were surgery, or another ultrasound in 6 months. I opted for another ultrasound in 6 months that showed no change. No surgery needed, just something a little different for my body. I hope the same for you OP

This is the problem when receiving test results at the same time as the ordering physician. The doctor’s office doesn’t read test results as quickly as you will. I am happy your doctor responded quickly. Good luck.

That’s terrible. Any PCP who is out of town for a week should have arranged coverage. If you don’t hear back early tomorrow, I would call.

This. Terrible. Get a new pcp.

Thank you. I have mixed feelings about mychart system; at least in my case radiology called me at home quickly. Cannot imagine opening mychart just to find out bad news without a warning

Just look at the test results yourself! No need to wait for pcp.

+1
I have benign things too. Technically "abnormal", but benign and unchanged.
I think the majority of the population has "abnormalities ", but nothing alarming.

Hoping it's a nothing burger for you too.
