Mammogram call back. A little scared. Is this common?

I know it is scary, but as others have said, you are most likely fine.

Try to distract yourself (Netflix, social plans, a good book).

4 is divided in to a, b, and c. From low suspicion to high. A is 2-10% suspicion of malignancy, b is 10-50%, and c is 50-95%.

Birads 5 is highly suspicious for malignantlcy (basically over 95% and your doctor is thinking it is cancer)

6 is a known cancer

If you have a 4, they say to consider a biopsy

Mine was zero, qualified as incomplete until ultrasound. But this is all useful to know. Thanks.
