Second guessing not submitting test scores

Other than CA schools and those that say don’t submit, TO really isn’t TO.

You should only suppress truly horrible SAT scores. Anything that falls in the medium range (over 1300) should be submitted for most schools.

Test optional is only for those who were too scared to take the test, or those who did poorly.

Current freshman whose SAT was definitely better than their GPA did not apply TO anywhere. SAT overall was higher than the high school’s average, and verbal was above school’s 75th percentile. Even math, which kid does not excel in, was in middle 50 for high school. Granted, not gunning for Top 20, but was accepted everywhere.

Same boat. 29 ACT didn’t submit to NYU, Emerson, Fordham.
