Trump, Republicans outraged by Ronald Reagan's anti-tariff speech

All of this a distraction from the real story. Do we want Canada to move towards China? Is that really in our best interests? What if Canada and China get chummy and China says, we want to put a military base on the border of the US? Think about it. We are conceding our position in the world so that one, weak man can feed his vanity and feel powerful. Nothing he does is in the interest of the USA. Nothing. He showed us last weekend what he thinks of us with his little video pooping on Americans. He shows us what he thinks of us daily. This man is a traitor.

This is why "America first" is an intellectual dead end and those who constantly bleat about it are, frankly, myopic idiots who have only known good times so they have no idea how valuable our soft power is.

Why would permission be needed? Reagan made comments publicly while president and there is no need for permission to use the content of his words because they are in the public domain.

Canada is all in on global warming, and has largely shut down its manufacturing base as a result. The economy is centered around being a finishing school for Chinese manufacturing to import into the US.
