Do we have to complete the FAFSA?

| We did not fill out FAFSA or SS#. Kid (HS class of 25) was offered substantial merit aid at every school that gives merit (public and private). Only schools that do not offer merit aid at all didn't offer it. There very well may be some that require FAFSA for merit, but we did not encounter them, and we did no research on it. |
