My advice to recent college grads

Definitely stay connected to leadership. I worked in a hybrid role when many of my colleagues were entirely remote. I made sure to have conversations and attend events in person. Guess who got laid off? The ones who sat at home and never went to the office.

All HR has been outsourced to India. Also, AI will easily replace most of HR.

Not ALL HR is being replaced by AI. That’s like saying all Tech roles have been replaced by Google.

AI is a tool set and yes it can replace some entry level tasks and even roles, but an entire HR department will never be fully automated with no people.
