How long did it take you to get pregnant after a miscarriage?

I am on of the PP who got pregnant on the next cycle, for me it was an early miscarriage at 6 weeks and was natural.

I had a D&C and my OB recommended we wait 3 months after my miscarriage to try again. So we waited 3 months, then it took 3 more months to get pregnant again, so I guess you could say 6 months.

It was verrrrry hard to wait those 3 months but in the end for us it was a good decision. I wasn't prepared mentally for another pregnancy until some time had passed.

miscarriage at 6 weeks end of may 2007, pregnant end of october 2007, and that's this pregnancy (now 31 weeks)

Miscarried at 9 weeks end of April 2006, with D&C, conceived again early Sept. 2006, healthy baby boy May 2007. It took a while for my cycles to be regular again, but as soon as they were, I got pregnant.

D&C in July (at 8wks), started trying in Sept., pregnant in Nov.

As soon as I got a period I started trying again. I have read that the advice about waiting 2 or 3 cycles is not medical it is based on "emotional readiness." For me, the best way to get over my miscarriage was to get back on the horse and start trying again. For others it may be different, but I never read anything that convinced me there a physical reason to wait (and doctor did not advise it either.)
