After the Hunt movie set at Yale

Anonymous
The main themes of After the Hunt include institutional misogyny, generational divides in approaching sexual assault allegations, and the complexities of identity politics. The film explores the tension between older and younger generations' views on handling trauma and the challenges faced by women navigating higher education and professional environments. It also examines "cancel culture", power dynamics, and the role of privilege in academic settings.

Seems like it got mixed to poor reviews.

And it was filmed largely in London, not Yale despite being set at Yale.

Why would Yale do that? This would be really disruptive to students, faculty and staff. Yale is mentioned in pop culture all the time. We're used to it, it's amusing, and we move on.

If you don’t think it’s disruptive to have a film set on campus, you’ve never been around a film set.

Which is fine, most people haven’t. But yes, it is disruptive. It can also be kind of cool, but it’s definitely disruptive.
Really? I hardly see Yale in media. MIT? Sure. Harvard? Of course. But not many schools beyond that. It’s not really that disruptive- students may have to slightly change their route to class, but that’s the perk of residential living- you don’t really need to care about these things. You come off strangely arrogant, which is sad for a Yale alum.

I’ve been around a few. there’s nothing disruptive about slightly changing your path to Beinicke, be for real. Some movie sets will just let students walk by while shooting. There’s nothing uniquely different about yale’s campus set up that would make it a pain for others if it was filmed on.
