My kid who was like this but granted mostly the books which were painful to read due to all the side facts, conversations, etc - dressed up as Ms. Frizzle for Halloween in pre-K - and now is in college studying Chemistry. agree. Also, my kiddo who really liked it is a high level science student now and still talks about it/how it provided a basic understanding of phenomena that she used to build on-- for topics she knows more about and especially for topics that she knows less about. |
