| These always strike me as something depressed people wear. Like the "waterfall" open cardigans of the early 2000s. It's "I've given up" adjacent. |
| I wear my quince ones almost every day in my office |
| I need to resurrect the “fall fashion is lies” thread because there is no way a woman could wear that outfit inside for more than two seconds. |
Do you have a link to which one you have? |
| The sweater blazers are a whole different look than the double breasted peacoat that the OP posted. |
Yes, genius, that's why she's asking for recs for something cheaper. |
Previously when I've gotten them there have been like a dozen color choices. Not sure why not now, they may just need to restock, but this is the one: https://www.quince.com/women/knit-blazer?color=navy |

I have the full sized version of this and really like it. Frank and Eileen stuff is expensive (especially for what it seems like you're getting in terms of material) but it is always cut well and holds up.
I would try the ReLoved by Frank and Eileen which is their resale platform. Here it is in green but other colors are available if you search:https://reloved.frankandeileen.com/collections/jackets/products/mini-belfast-evergreen-triple-fleece-resale |
I have 2 of these ranging from 7-10 years old. They held up well and are my desk sweater as they look professional on Teams calls without looking as stuffy as a true blazer. |
| This chain is actually showing th OP jacket is pretty unique! Cotton, buttons, the cute collar... Now I am thinking about buying one |
| Please just wear a nice tweed blazer. I promise it will be comfortable and you will look 100x more attractive in it, than in any of the monstrosity fast-fashion brands shown above. |
Any links? |
Maybe it’s the model, but that jacket looks really sad. Depressing actually. |
I think it must be the model bc I get compliments on it when wearing it. One colleague bought it on the spot after seeing it worn. |
Adding that I cuff the sleeves and wear in my real size to avoid an oversized sloppier fit, which is how the model seems to wear it. Also the monotone colors in those quince photos lend an overall sweat suit vibe. It's unfortunate! |
