Must Use ChatGPT/AI to Build Resume Now?

It comes down to this: everyone is using AI for their resumes. Companies are using AI to process applicants, and no where is hiring. I’d stick to using non AI methods

I think most employers expect you to have a basic LinkedIn with your work history on it.

Agree that most social media is not helpful.
I did not have LinkedIn and "everyone" said I needed it for job hunting. Has not been helpful, just spammy.

i do have have linkedin which i created but only used briefly when i was job hunting more than ten years ago and never updated it since. red flag?

If you have a LinkedIn profile, it should be up to date. Lots of employers are encouraging employees to use their linkedin to highlight work accomplishments as a marketing tool, so they want to see that you use it.
