While I agree that you should be friendly at work, but not friends with your coworkers, I think it is absolutely fine to drink around coworkers if you are an adult about it and you don't get drunk. Having a beer at happy hour or the company picnic is fine, getting hammered is not.

Have a running document where you log all the work done, meetings attended etc, in real time. if they have a system of status reports then you are covered. Else, you still CYA.

Appearance and grooming - please pay attention. Look clean, well put together and professional. Make your personal brand.

No social media. Clean your digital footprint. Keep resume updated. Keep linkedin updated. Thank and update all your network contacts that you reached out to while job hunting.
