I am baffled that anyone would find it reliable or trustworthy. You have to spend so much time checking and confirming, you're not actually saving any time or getting anything better.

I think it is absolutely worth using but also not at all reliable. I tried to use it recently and about fifty percent of the suggestions were inaccurate. That said, I did get a few ideas that I otherwise would not have thought of.

What its most helpful for, is analysizing your schools data.

Give it as much information as possible:
- matriculation and admissions data for last few years
- school profile
- list of schools visiting high school this fall (and last fall if you have it)
- applicant stats (gpa, scores, rigor, legacy, awards)
- any other pertinent news.

continue to analyze and refine. Ask for it to probe deeper into data for colleges that might want kids like mine but where the rest of the class isnt applying
