How soon after divorce did you have sex?

Same. So I've just opted out of pursuing anything.

I moved out a year ago and divorce will be finalized soon. I honestly spent the first 6-9 months grieving the end of my marriage. I was using my weekly therapy sessions to cry and second-guess every choice I made in my adult life.

Recently feeling better and l've been getting intobhobbies and interests I had pre-marriage, buying and decorating my own house... I honestly feel pretty fulfilled with my kids, my family and my friends. I am not ready to give anything to a relationship and I'm not interested in casual sex.

Were you in a sexless marriages?

Yes, for the three years of the separation and divorce.

I've been divorced for ten months and I haven't met anyone I want to have sex with even though I'm open to it. I'm not waiting for love, just someone I really like.

I was 39yo man at the time and had sex within a week of moving into my own place before divorce was final. That summer I had a nice rotation with a 21yo in my apartment complex, a 31yo from tinder and a 39yo who I knew through a work connection.

He was very sweet and quite relentless which had a certain amount of charm. When the divorce was final I called him, we went on a date and we had sex that first night. I was pretty in need of affection by that point and I guess he deserved something for his effort. We dated briefly but it ended.

That was almost a decade ago. Current partner and I got tested so we could take the condoms off and all fine there, thanks for your concern.

Your worries are valid. I am male 47 and divorced. While your worries are valid, in reality older women have no problem sleeping with men of any age for 2 reasons. First most men don't know how to approach women so most will be turned down and as a result remain single and sexless or pay for it..And second as a woman regardless of your age if you want sex you can pick and choose the man you want to sleep with. It doesn't matter if the man wants you just for sex. I won't deny that men do like younger women, but if you are looking just for sex you won't have an issue. Now if you are saying 49 and want a serious relationship with any actractive and ambitious 29 years old while not impossible it's going to be tough. And it will be tough for men as well, I don't think any particular gender has an advantage when it comes to seriously dating younger people if they are old. But when it comes to sex ill say older women may have an advantage in part because younger men are most likely to satisfy them sexually better especially if they came from a sexless marriage. I will be honest while here are men my age who can for example c**m 3 times in a row and have PIV every day I am not one of them. God bless those 47 years old men who can achieve this naturally without ED drugs there are not many of them.

Six months after separation. Divorce took almost two years from separation.

After years in a sexless marriage, it was great (and still is!). I cannot believe what I had been putting up with.

I am much happier now, five years after divorce.

One month. We had been separated for two years and I had not had sex in 7 YEARS by the time of divorce.

Within ten days of getting my own place. But I had been in the guest room for months.
