Anyone paint a room semigloss white?

This is the main reason many don't use gloss or semi gloss on sheetrock walls. ^

Now on wood walls, sure it would be fine. Especially in a bathroom or laundry area.

I grew up in an eggshell house but a realtor convinced me to do flat once and I’ve never gone back. I have no problems with cleaning it (various bm paints).
