Hate to agree with this but there is no opportunity. If they aren't offering then move on. They are stringing you along and you are at best a fallback plan. Be aggressive with these coaches. It is a numbers game. they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CHILD . This is a business agreement. They are not "nice" and you shouldn't be patient or pass up another program to hold out for a coach who says "you are on our list" and some other nonsense about roster caps or working some things out.

they are lying to you to keep you on the hook. It's gross and it's horrible.
