I completely agree with this. My DD made the top division in the MVSA league, but she didn't get any offer from MVSA (not even on their bottom team). She was on the top court during MOCO clinics, but she didn't get any offer from MOCO. If you end up on the bottom court during club clinics, it is safe to assume that you would not make a team.

When you say your DD "made the top division of the MVSA league", do you mean during clinics she was placed on the most skilled/top court? Or what does that mean she made the top division in the MVSA league?

I am talking about the MVSA fall league, not about their the clinics. In a league, players are divided in teams and they have one practice and one game per week. The MVSA fall league is organized based on age and skill level. The best players are selected for the top division, while the beginners are in the bottom division. There might be intermediate divisions, depending how many teams they accommodate. The top division in the MVSA fall league offers the best experience to the players - this was better than any tournament we've ever been to. The teams are very even and the games are amazing - you can rarely predict the final result. I highly recommend the league to anybody who can participate.

Unfortunately, they don't run the league for high schoolers.
